ABOUT ME

 

As a child, I always loved to read.  Some of my childhood favorite books/authors are Miss Hickory by Carolyn Sherwin Bailey, anything by Richard Scarry, the Little House on the Prairie series, and books by Beverly Cleary such as Beezus and Ramona and Ramona the Pest  I still love to read, although I do not have a favorite author now (there are so many good ones).  I also loved drawing as a child and have started back drawing in 2018, in hopes of one day being the illustrator for my own children's picture books.

​When I'm not writing Raffi books or practicing my drawing, I like to spend time reading, doing photography, traveling, and learning new things.  I love taking classes or teaching myself new skills.
